J. Kumar Infraprojects Ltd. built the elevated viaduct on the first operational stretch of the Ahmedabad Metro, a Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation project that opened the city's metro network.

The Ahmedabad Metro is built and operated by the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation. J. Kumar constructed the elevated viaduct on the Vastral to Apparel Park section of the East-West Corridor, which became the first operational stretch of the entire network. The section was inaugurated in March 2019.
